  Just click over the image with your right mouse button

 Choose "Save Picture As.... " option and save the image in appropriate directory with a suitable name

 Paste (insert) the picture in your document by following inset menu path (as given below assuming MS Word97 as your word processing software)

Insert menu>Picture>From File...

 To convert the image into hyperlink, after inserting the picture click over the image with your right mouse button. Choose "Hyperlink...." menu. Give the path of the file or URL of web site to which you are linking.

 To change the image into your desired shape and size, open it in your favorite image editor like MS Photo Editor, Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, MS Paint or any other and experiment there to improve or alter the image. You can use any popular image converter to convert the image into desired image file format. Best formats for web are JPEG and GIF.
